Lauren and Adam's Wedding

Adam was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ. Lauren was born in Miami Beach, FL, in the very home where she will marry Adam.

Adam and Lauren met as students at the University of Chicago in September 2003.  It was on the front lawn of the Phi Delta Theta Illinois Beta house at 5625 University Avenue. Adam and his fraternity brothers were sitting on couches on the front lawn, playing guitar and singing songs, when Lauren and her roommate approached the gathering.

After listening for a while, Lauren asked to play a song. Because the late fall day was ending, and because Lauren was wearing a hat pulled down low on her head, Adam couldn't see her face as she sat down on a nearby couch.  When Lauren began to sing and play a song she had written, Adam knew he would have to either stop listening to the song, or fall in love with Lauren and hear her beautiful voice forever.

After about a month of courting, including a first date at the Adobo Grill and Comedy Sportz, Adam and Lauren began dating in October 2003. After living in Chicago until May 2007, Adam and Lauren decided to move to Philadelphia, where they currently reside with their three cats Joey, Marco, and Sophie.
